Information Planning & Management Service is a retail consulting firm specializing in developing and implementing business solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs and increase sales and profits. We provide in-store solutions for retailers, manufacturers and brokers that enable store specific price and merchandising plan implementation, facilitate planogram compliance and improve workflow for "center store" operations. IPMS:

JDA Space Planning:

One of the state of the art space management software programs utilized by retailers in order to improve category and space performance, space planning and customer reach. IPMS readily accepts and utilizes the same software and data from this system to drive our Shelf Strip system and Store Execution Solutions.

Kitting/Packaging:

We have ability to kit based on store specific strips and other items required to ship in each store’s box. We call this a "Reset in a box".

Merchandising solutions:

We specialize in developing merchandising solutions to improve execution and drive retail profitability at store level. These include Retail Store Planograms, Planogram Resets, and customized and patented Shelf Strips System.

National Price Label Library:

The National Price Label Library is an IPMS proprietary and patent pending central repository of federal, state and local jurisdiction rules and regulations, for retail pricing shelf labels. Our database provides a single, up-to-date source for determining compliance with the latest regulations. This uniquely positions IPMS as an authority on label regulations and enables us to accurately advise our customers, avoiding potentially costly compliance violations.

Patented Shelf System:

We have been awarded U.S. Pat. No. 7,287,001, which further legitimizes us as the premier provider of shelf strip services. It is an enterprise software solution that shelf-based retailers use to confirm proper execution of the company's merchandising strategy at the store level. Planogram Management Service:

IPMS Planogram Management Service is a service offered by IPMS that develops and maintains planograms based on the retailers’ business strategies and merchandising rules. It allows the manufacturers to focus on the actual analysis of the product in the plan and not spend time on the mechanics, “Manage” not do. All major planogram software systems are on site and have the ability to develop and maintain planograms based on your business strategies and merchandising rules. Planogram resets:

Resets are a very important and regular part of every retailer’s day to day functions. IPMS provides store specific solutions (reset in a box) that enable retailers to execute these resets in the most accurate and efficient way possible and reducing retail labor costs.

Retail Store Set Manager:

A Retail Store Set Manager is a tool for capturing the physical infrastructure (layout) and the planograms associated with a store. The system is capable of importing data from AutoCAD drawings, or store data can be captured by an operator via the user interface without CAD files. It allows control, planning & reporting on the entire retail space owned by the chain by aisle, aisle-side, section, fixture, and shelf by planogram location.

Shelf edge marketing:

Shelf edge marketing is the method of using a Shelf Strips System and other materials to communicate with your customers and deliver the most important and relevant information to your audience at the most critical location, the shelf edge.

Software Systems:

Software Systems allow for the integration of the Price Labels, Shelf Talkers/Hangers, shelf strips, printed planograms, execution guides and other store execution materials to be included in the kit for use in the proper execution for store sets at the store level.

Spaceman Space Management Software:

One of the state of the art space management software programs utilized by retailers in order to improve category and space performance, space planning and customer reach. Store remodel:

Retailers often re-arrange several aisles in the store as part of larger project. Remodels usually consist of many categories being reset at the same time. The IPMS solutions are integrated to support these activities on a store specific basis through our Store Reset Kits to Planogram Resets.

Store reset kits:

Store’s receive all the materials they need to complete a reset in one box. IPMS refers to these also as “Reset in a Box” and are provided to each store containing the Shelf Strips, Signage, Printed planograms, execution guides and any other materials needed in order to accurately execute at the store level.

Tracking of Packages/Kits:

Tracking of Packages/Kits is the ability to monitor the delivery of each kit to enable compliance of stores and management of labor and assure each and every store receives their kit when they need it.
